Kos island lies very close to the Asia Minor and 201 nautical miles
from Piraeus.
It has an area of 290 sq. km, a coast line of 112 km and a population
of 20.000.
Kos can be reached by air from Athens and Rhodes or by ferry boat
from Piraeus, Rafina, the Cyclades, the islands of the northern
and eastern Aegean, Kavala, Crete, Rhodes and the other islands
of the Dodecanese.
Kos is the island of Hippocrates (father of medicine).

| When you wish to have a house built, the procedure
is as follows: |

You let us know of your needs as far as space, rooms, balconies,
roofs and shape are concerned.
With this
as our guidelines we'll make up an architectural plan which
we will show to you.
If you will
agree with our plan, we'll proceed with the building permit.
The cost of the building permit (survey and taxes) amounts,
at this time, for a house 100 s.m. about 3.580 Euro (depending
on balconies, cellar etc.)
After the
building permit is acquired we'll talk to you about materials
which will be used.
In the meantime,
we'll make a detailed estimate as to the cost of the building
and a technical report with all the details will be given to
you.
We'll sign
a contract for the style and materials for the building (payment
will be made gradually as the work progresses with a down payment
of 50% of the closing costs).
Construction
starts. The average time from the beginning till the house is
finished is six working months from the signing of the contract.
The average
cost for a country house at the moment is 1.124,75 Euro / sq.
m. including veranda with pergola on 20% of the surface of the
house, sewage, cupboards in bedrooms and kitchen.
We also
offer help in interior design (furniture, curtains etc) and
later, when the house is finished, external landscaping (fences,
lights, sidewalks, garages, plants etc.) |
